Massage is Better Than Opioid Pain Relievers for Back Pain

Since 2010, the use of MRIs to diagnose back pain and powerful pain relievers to help back pain have increased by more than 50 percent. Unfortunately, conventional approaches don’t always work, and the risks of becoming addicted to opioid pain relievers is very real. A better first step is to try neuromuscular massage to relieve the pain and restore movement.
