Winter Hazards

Slips and falls are common in the cold months. Prepare your walkways using an ice melting compound. If possible, use handrails as you walk on slippery surfaces, and wear boots with non-skid soles. If you have a fall and hit your head or have a loss of consciousness, you should be seen in the Emergency Room. A good neuromuscular massage can lessen the effects of stiff and sore muscles after a fall.
